         There are loads of competitions in various schools; essay writing is one of them. It involves writing of essay among students of the same or different schools who then held competitions to determine the winner. They usually show their writing and research skills which play a major part in the competition. These competitions are held from time to time in schools and given the necessary attention and time, as other extra curricula activities for example music and games. In each and every competition, there must be a winner and the loser, the judges who are the determinant of the best essays and bad essays are reputable people.

In order to win the essay contest an individual must be well prepared and must be having vast knowledge about the different types of essays. To do this one needs to always practice writing essays prior to the contest. A student needs to be equipped with the necessary tools to win such a contest. This goes without saying that in each and every competitions there are losers and winners, it’s up to the individual students to try his or her best to emerge as the winner in the contest. The necessary arrangements are made with all the expected participants and letters of invitation sent to each and every school expected to perform.

Essay competition acts like a mind opener to most students, they get to familiarize themselves with the various different styles of writing and how they can be applied to their education life. In most cases the creative students gets to win the competition, writing of essays entails creativity and this case individuals who are creative gets to walk away with the winning price. It is vital to put in mind that, writing is not only done for leisure, but it can also be a professional career. Most students have always looked down on writing as less important as compared to other activities and careers. They need to understand that it’s the little things that make the biggest impact on something; therefore, everything should be taken seriously and with caution.
